Who am I?

Hello, I’m Ian Nipper, living in Huddersfield, working as a librarian in Leeds (well, usually, I’m actually working in my home office at the moment due to the COVID-19 pandemic).

In my spare time I like listening to music – my tastes are quite varied but most of the time my ears are being treated to the sounds of rock and pop, such as David Bowie, Billy MacKenzie/The Associates, Sparks and Pet Shop Boys. I’m keen on photography, although I’m not technically accomplished with it. I enjoy using design software such as Photoshop and Illustrator – currently trying to move away from that and become more familiar with Affinity Photo, Designer and Publisher.

I also have a large attic full of stuff I might one day find a use for (notice I didn’t say ‘junk’ there?) which is so full that I cant actually use it!
